Helicopter crash pair recovering

Two men who survived a helicopter accident in South Westland at the weekend are soon to be discharged from hospital.

The helicopter was giving rides to raise funds for Haast School when it crashed on a beach near Haast just before 8pm on Saturday.

Pilot Dave Jellie and his passenger are recovering in Greymouth Hospital.
