A helicopter is being used to help fight a forestry fire in Hawke's Bay.
The large blaze is on a steep hillside off Aropaoanui Road, north of Napier.
A witness says he saw up to ten fire trucks racing to the scene earlier this morning.
A helicopter is also in the air battling the blaze.
The Fire Service say the fire isn't threatening homes and is in a forestry block.
