Labour leader Jacinda Ardern gives her assessment of the second major party leaders' debate and what it means for the general election in just two and a half weeks.
Helen Clark continues to wield her social media clout, hitting back at a reader on the NZ Herald Facebook page.
The former Prime Minister responded to a critic directly on a post about her being named the third most influential woman on social media.
Clark made herself known when a person commented on the state of the New Zealand economy after Labour.
The poster said: "Left [sic] NZ down after drowning financial meltdown due to out of control social spending, all hidden until after she and her party were out."
Clark quickly fired back: "No serious analysis would substantiate your allegation. I know elections bring out partisanship, but please base it on facts."

Clark's comment has received hundreds of likes, with members of the public throwing their support behind the former politician.
It's not the first time Clark has used social media to prove a point. Earlier this week she tackled National on Twitter when they took a swipe at Labour over their lack of "projects".
They posted an image of the Waterview tunnel with the caption: "Labour wants to stop the projects and live on the vision. #LetsNot".
