KEY POINTS:
The Hawkes Bay is set to be hit with another cold front, with heavy snow in the ranges this weekend.
The MetService has warned that 30 to 40cm of snow could fall in the ranges above 800 metres from tonight.
Snow showers are also expected down to 600 metres overnight, turning to rain on Saturday evening.
The MetService said the Napier to Taihape road and Napier to Taupo roads were likely to be affected.
