Hearing starts into $10m fraud

A second round of depositions into a large and complex Waikato fraud investigation, dubbed Operation Allsorts, began in the Hamilton High Court yesterday.

The hearing is expected to last more than three weeks, and involves 11 people facing a variety of fraud related charges.

The case is understood to involve about $10 million in money laundering and property fraud.
