KEY POINTS:
The depositions hearing for the woman accused of murdering Marton pensioner Mona Morriss was due to start in the Wanganui District Court today.
Mrs Morriss, who was 83, was found stabbed to death in her pensioner flat in January 2005.
A 42-year-old Palmerston North woman was charged with her murder in July of this year. She has been granted name suppression because of some contested evidence.
The hearing has been set down for five-days.
