Headbutting sheep caught ramming owner's car

A pet black sheep has been captured on camera ramming his owner's car door, a day after the vehicle returned from the panel beaters.

Watson, who lives with his family in Otaki, dented the passenger-side door of the Toyota at Shiree Palmer's home.

The fluffy animal may have been attacking his reflection in the shiny car.

"I got my car back from the panel beaters yesterday after having the right passenger door repaired after someone drove into it," Ms Palmer said on Facebook.

"It hasn't been used since just parked up in the front yard. Today Watson attacked the left passenger door and has totally trashed it!!!! I can't believe it!!!! Here is the video evidence."

Viewers have jokingly responded to the video.

One person wrote: "Why have you never thought of giving the boy a mirror instead? Could be cheaper."

Ms Palmer also sent the video to her insurance company, which sent her a funny reply.

"Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to see the damage Watson has caused to your car and I'm glad to see Watson has taken full responsibility of his actions," the message read.

"If you would like to lodge a claim for this event please let me know as I'm more than willing to guide you through this claim and exchange sheep stories.

"Again thank you for your email as it has made my week."

Ms Palmer also uploaded a picture of Watson with a sign around his neck that read: "I head butted my owner's car door the day after she got it back fron the panel beaters. I totally trashed it."
