A car driving on the wrong side of the road caused a head-on collision in Hamilton earlier today.
The accident occurred at around 8.10am and closed Cobham Drive for about an hour.
Waikato police Senior Sergeant Pete van de Wetering said it appeared the crash was due to a man driving the wrong way.
"It appears that he has made a right turn out of Hillsborough Tce on to Cobham Drive into the path of southbound traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle. The crash was not serious but both vehicles suffered moderate frontal damage, the airbags were deployed and two [occupants] suffered minor and moderate injuries."
Cobham Drive was closed for about an hour as the scene was cleared.
