The man accused of murdering Christchurch schoolboy Hayden Miles has been committed for trial.
Gavin John Gosnell, 27, is accused of killing the 15-year-old, whose remains were found at a Christchurch cemetery last year after a four-month missing persons probe.
Today, Christchurch District Court officials confirmed that Gosnell, who remains in custody at the city's men's prison, will fight the charge at a trial later in the year.
Gosnell, 27, will appear in court next on June 1 for a pre-trial conference.
Miles was in Child, Youth and Family care when he missing after going to a friend's house at Cashel St, in Linwood, on August 22 last year.
