A few minor traffic incidents on State Highway One have caused major delays for Auckland commuters heading to work this morning.
Around 10 hay bales dropped off a vehicle travelling northbound over the harbour bridge about 6.30am. At least one vehicle crashed into a hay bale, although there were no injuries.
The police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.
A police spokesperson said the scene has since been cleared.
Police were also attending a breakdown on the southern motorway, northbound near the Greenlane off-ramp, and a two-car crash on the northbound lane of the southern motorway near the East Tamaki off-ramp.
