Hawkes Bay too good in 2-1 win

Hawke's Bay were good value for their 2-1 win over Team Wellington when the two national men's soccer league teams met in a pre-season "friendly" at Hullena Park, Masterton on Saturday. The Bay side often exposed deficiencies in the Wellington defence and were clearly superior in midfield, an area where Wellington struggled to get any fluidity into their game.
Both sides were playing at Hullena Park for the first time and they were very impressed by the condition of the ground.
