A man who suffered critical injuries during an "altercation" at an address in the Hawke's Bay has died.
The 47-year-old was admitted to hospital with critical injuries two weeks ago, on November 17.
He died this afternoon.
Police said they were investigating the circumstances of how the man received his injuries.
Hawke's Bay area commander Inspector Dave Greig said the man was injured during "an altercation involving a number of people" at a Long Range Rd address in Pourerere.
