A 34-year-old Hawea man has died after the car he was driving flipped several times on Cemetery Road, Hawea Flat.
Police said initial investigations suggested the Toyota Land Cruiser flipped several times after the driver over-corrected when the car drifted into a gravel verge.
Police said no other vehicles were involved and the driver was the only person in the car when the crash occurred between 1am and 2:30am.
The crash is still being investigated by police.
