New Zealand teenager Vernon Phillip Bartley, 16, is expected to be indicted for murder, sexual assault, burglary and other charges in Hawaii this week.
Bartley is accused of killing Karen Ertell, 51.
His lawyer, Jeffrey Hawk, told the Honolulu Advertiser he expected Bartley to be indicted before a preliminary hearing set for tomorrow.
Bail has been set at US$500,000 ($833,000).
