A Hastings shopkeeper has been left shaken after being threatened with a knife in an aggravated robbery this morning.
At 9:15am two people were reported to have entered a store, on the corner of Charles St and Eastbourne St West.
Police said the pair threatened the shop attendant with a knife before taking some cash, store stock and a set of keys belonging to the victim.
They used these keys to flee in the shop attendant's car - a white Toyota Hilux ute.
Hawke's Bay Police searched the area following the burglary and found the vehicle a short time later on the outskirts of the town - near the local showground.
