Hastings shooters remain at large

Hastings police are still trying to find offenders who shot a 48-year-old woman in the shoulder on Wednesday night.

Three people broke into a house in Mahora about 9pm looking for a man, but ended up shooting the woman instead, police said.

Police this afternoon had not found the intended victim or the shooters.

It was understood to be an internal gang problem.
