KEY POINTS:
A Hastings man captured two burglars early this morning who had tried to break in to a pharmacy.
Hastings Police said the man and his partner had heard sounds of breaking glass.
The man ran to the scene while his partner called police.
The man had wrestled and pinned down the two offenders - one was armed with a metal bar - and held them to the ground until police arrived.
The offenders, a 31-year-old male and 22-year-old female, had tried to break in to Mahora Pharmacy in Tomoana Road in Hastings.
