Resurgent New Zealand First leader Winston Peters has railed against what he called New Zealand's road to separate development for Maori and non-Maori.
In an address to the Ellerslie Rotary Club in Auckland this morning, he also delivered a broadside to the media that he accused of shutting out New Zealand First from the election coverage.
He said the party had been banned from leaders' debates on TVNZ and Radio NZ, and ignored by the Herald, Dominion Post and Christchurch Press.
