The highlight of Masterton Harrier Club's centennial celebrations has drawn a pleasing response.
A dinner at Copthorne Solway Park on Sunday will be attended by around 120 past and present members with centennial committee chairwoman Gail Edwards saying the emphasis would be on recounting some of the club's colourful history.
Edwards will be one of three main speakers, along with club stalwarts Bernard Teahan and Graeme Butcher.
Many of those attending the dinner will very probably take part in the 10km runs and walks being held from the Pugh Sports Bowl on Saturday, starting at 2pm.
Pack runs will be held from the Copthorne on Monday, starting at 9.15am.
