Two benefactors stepped forward yesterday to help the Djibouti Olympic team - comprising four athletes, a sailor and a judoka - which had cash stolen from a fundraiser this week.
About $A3000 was stolen from the tiny east African nation's fund during a fundraising evening held by African communities in Sydney.
But a stockbroking firm and a charity offered to replace the missing cash which would pay the accommodation for the athletes' families.
Happy ending for Djibouti team
