Lions supporters have been flocking to Auckland in anticipation of the final test, with the sea of red and blue easily seen on the streets.
English couple Brian and Dorothy Harwell have been here since the first test two weeks ago, travelling by plane and bus.
"The transportation's getting a bit overcrowded but I think you'd get that anywhere," said Mr Harwell.
The pair jetted into Auckland on Sunday evening, and say the various centres they've visited have coped well with the influx.
Welsh couple Nesta and Dai Jones took to the sea, choosing to see the country on board the cruise liner Pacific Sun.
"Everyone's been superb. The hospitality wherever we go has made our stay great," said Mrs Jones.
There had been a sense of camaraderie among the New Zealand and Lions fans, she said.
And on the roads, the fleet of Lions campervans has begun arriving in Auckland, with more still expected to flood Alexandra Park's Lions village.
Some 300 have checked into the racecourse, but many have also decided to see the rest of the country before returning to Auckland for the final test.
General manager Robert Blake was expecting "a stack" of 600 vans to arrive today.
Yesterday, about 50 were in the park as the Auckland rain continued for the third straight day.
Among those seeking shelter inside their vehicles were English visitor Daniel Edwards.
The diesel mechanic has been here since the start of the tour and has found the whole trip "brilliant".
He's had to endure a bit of ribbing from the locals, given the series' outcome, but takes it good-naturedly.
"It's part of the fun of being here."
Some Lions fans had not been happy with facilities at the temporary caravan park, but Mr Edwards thought otherwise.
The raceway appeared "a bit sparse" but the facilities were good.
Welsh visitor Chris Hickey said the raceway's restaurant and 24-hour bar have been "outstanding".
Given the lack of sunshine, the park's management even did their laundry for free.
Travelling buddy Adrian Ross said the tour had been fantastic.
"We're all sad it's another 12 years till we're back."
