What Aucklanders get up to after dark has been captured on film and will be televised in 130 countries.
A United States cable television crew spent last night trawling the city's pubs and clubs for a travel series shown in more than 350 million homes worldwide.
E! Television, partly owned by Disney, sampled bars and nightclubs at the Viaduct Basin, Parnell, Ponsonby and K'Rds for a one-hour, Wild On New Zealand programme.
Earlier yesterday, the Wild On crew took to the Hauraki Gulf with members of Team New Zealand for a three-hour sail.
Opening the programme will be Wild On's host, former US model Brooke Burke, harnessed to a ledge of the Sky Tower.
Producer Sheilah Pacete said Auckland had lived up to its US reputation of being a stunning city.
"We are very much in love with the city and with New Zealand.
"Our show aims to take people to the most hip and happening places in the world and we believe Auckland deserves to be part of that."
The crew last week filmed in the Coromandel and will now head to Queenstown for an extreme sports segment.
Wild On New Zealand is due to screen in February.
