Hang glider crashes into Canterbury paddock

Save A hang glider has been flown to Christchurch Hospital after crashing into a paddock south of Christchurch this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Teddington about 3.20pm.
A St John Ambulance spokesman said the man, believed to be in his 20s, was flown to the hospital's emergency department with leg
and shoulder injuries.
He could have a broken leg, he said.
Ambulance, Westpac Rescue Helicopter and police all attended the scene.
