KEY POINTS:
A South Auckland home-handyman died while working on his house in Papatoetoe yesterday.
It's believed the man, who was 43, was electrocuted while trying to install insulation under his house.
Police said there were no obvious live cables but the man was using a staplegun and might have hit a hidden wire running under the house.
The man's wife called for an ambulance but there was nothing that could be done for him.
Sergeant Vaughn McAllister said the case would be referred to the coroner.
