The Hamilton woman found dead in her home earlier this week died from accidental burns, say police.
Caroline Mary Jeans, 47, a part-time kitchen hand who lived alone in Baverstock Road, in the Hamilton suburb of Nawton, was found on Monday.
Hamilton police said they were satisfied she did not kill herself and no one else was involved in her death.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page she had burns from an accidental fire in her home but they were not sure how the fire began.
"We are satisfied no one else was involved. She died as a result of burns and police are treating it as accidental," he said.
He said they were still trying to find the cause of the fire.
"We are still working through that. That is one of the issues for us."
He said the police examination of the house was due to finish today.
