A Hamilton woman says she plans to fight "ridiculous" charges that allege she hindered and assaulted a parking warden.
Krystal Wanikau is furious that the charges claim she not only abused a parking warden in Bryce St on May 8, but that she also pushed her, sending her falling on to a car.
The 33-year-old today pleaded not guilty to charges of forcibly hindering the parking warden and assaulting her when she appeared in the Hamilton District Court.
When approached by the Herald outside for comment about the charges, Wanikau claims the charges are lies.
Court documents state she parked in a loading zone outside her bank and was about to walk inside when she was approached by the warden, stating that she couldn't park there.
