A Hamilton man has admitted to a number of charges including sexually assaulting boys over three decades.
Barry Were, 61, appeared in Hamilton District Court today to face 10 charges of indecent assault, five of indecent assault on a man/boy over 16 and one of an indecent act with intent .
The charges relate to offences that took place between 1983 and the end of 2012 involving five boys aged between 7 and 16.
The self-employed software designer entered guilty pleas to each of the charges.
Judge Robert Spear convicted Were before remanding him in custody for sentencing on November 25.
