A Hamilton man has admitted sexually assaulting young boys and being in possession of objectionable material.
The man has been in custody with name suppression since his first appearance in the Hamilton District Court last year.
He reappeared via audiovisual link today where he made last-minute guilty pleas to the charges.
The man admitted two charges of indecently assaulting a child between October 6, 2016 and October 23, 2017, sexual violation by unlawful sexual connection with a boy between September 1, 2017 and September 30, 2017 and unlawful possession of objectionable material, namely of children engaging in sexual activity.
Crown prosecutor Trelise Needham asked for suppression of the man's name and the organisation he was linked with to be extended until sentencing.
