Hamilton City Council will vote today on whether to keep the city's water fluoride free, or to put the chemical back in.
Councillors will be presented with three options when they cast their votes this afternoon.
They are to keep the water supply fluoride-free, put it back in, or to have the city's main water supply fluoridated and provide somewhere for people to get un-fluoridated water if they want it.
The last option would prove very costly if adopted.
