A silver and white car linked to the shooting of a 14-year-old boy in June has been recovered.
The discovery of the vehicle comes after police appealed to the public on Friday asking for any information about its whereabouts.
The car, which had a distinctive silver panel on the driver's side, was involved in the shooting of the teenager in the suburb of Bader, Hamilton on June 16. The boy was left with minor injuries.
Police thanked the public for their help and are now following up new lines of inquiry as a result of a forensic examination of the vehicle.
Anyone with information who has yet to speak with the police are asked to call Detective Sergeant Andrew Saunders on (07) 858 6200.
