Gypsy hopes to cast spell on new owners

Gypsy the domestic short hair is a Shore girl at heart.

The two-year-old stray was picked up in Takapuna by an SPCA inspector early last month.

SPCA marketing manager Martin Mackenzie says Gypsy is a happy and affectionate cat, keen to get as much attention as she can.

"She is happy to say hello to all visitors, and once she has a home of her own she will be loving and loyal," he says.
