Gun seized in drug raids

Police seized a sub-machinegun during drug raids on two Pukekohe properties yesterday.

The Counties Manukau organised crime unit also seized $30,000, some white crystals believed to be methamphetamine and chemicals and equipment used to make P from the properties in the Buckland area, 4km south of Pukekohe.

A 39-year-old local man is expected to face a variety of drugs-related charges in Pukekohe District Court today.
