KEY POINTS:
A Coromandel gun collector who complained a week ago that more than 120 guns, some military style, had been stolen from his home was arrested yesterday on firearms charges and making a false statement to police.
John Mabey, 43, of Hot Water Beach, will appear in Thames District Court today. His gun licence, which he has held for 25 years, has been revoked.
