KEY POINTS:
Fuel company Gull is keeping its prices down as two of the big four raised their prices today to match their competitors.
Gull general manager Dave Bodger said that at the sites his company controlled unleaded 91 octane petrol was selling for 183.9c a litre and diesel for 149.9c.
Gull has about 30 stations in the North Island.
Today Shell and Mobil raised their prices to match those of BP and Caltex who led the round of price hikes on April 22.
Shell, Mobil, BP and Caltex are now all selling 91 octane for 188.9c a litre, 95 octane for 194.9c and diesel for 156.9c.
