KEY POINTS:
I'm a beauty geek, I know, but I love the creative ways the hair and makeup teams interpret the themes of shows, even if they're not "pretty, pretty" or even wearable.
For the Nom*D show, the creative team took the "hasn't gone home yet" inspiration for the clothes and drew it out to the nth degree. With the show's Bedlam theme, they envisaged a party girl who hadn't gone home for almost a week and set about recreating her.
The hair was mussed up and lived in; "unkempt, I don't care about it" styles. The stylists used lots of salt water to achieve the look and texture they were after - gritty, undone and raw.
Accessories like bows and ribbons were embedded in the back of the hair to add to the lived-in look. No detail was overlooked even sweaty hairlines were achieved with dewy, wet look products.
But where the hair was fussed over, the makeup has to be the simplest in catwalking history.
The team used only two products - a shimmery highlighter to get the glistening out-all-night skin and a browny-neutral lipliner on both lips and eyes for definition.
And the end result? Well, they're models, so any of us would be lucky to look like that after just one long night!
