Greytown players dominate the initial Wairarapa senior men's cricket training squad for the 2012-13 season.
The southerners provide seven of the 20-strong squad, four of whom won't be immediately available. Ben Foster and Daniel Ingham will complete their university studies in November, and Quentin McKenna and Gordon Reisima are overseas. Reisima will return home next month and McKenna in December.
Several notable names from last season are also missing. Seth Rance, Jamie Holmes and Matt Stringfellow are all joining Wellington clubs, Greg Todd is heading to Melbourne and Dean Van Deventer will be playing his cricket in Canterbury.
The squad will start training at the Rathkeale College high performance centre on Sunday, August 18, at 10am.
