Green Party health spokesperson Kevin Hague will host a meeting in Masterton on Monday, as part of a national tour on healthcare challenges.
"I have been touring the country over these couple of months to talk about our heath sector, what's broken and the Green vision of what we can do to fix it," he said.
"The simple fact is that the current Government has avoided the big issues in health.
"They have taken the approach of not rocking the boat in the short term, but all that's going to lead to is much bigger problems in the future. They're not putting in enough money, and what they are putting in they're spending on the wrong things.
"The Green Party has a plan for delivering good lives and a healthy future for everyone. After more than 25 years in the Health sector I am excited about our plan and would love to talk with you about it when I come to your town."
