Seventeen Lotto players are ringing in the New Year $22,077 richer after each winning Lotto Second Division this weekend.
Quake-rattled Christchurch was the big winner, claiming four lucky tickets, while two were sold in Dunedin.
Other winning tickets were bought in Auckland, Drury, Opotiki, Morrinsville, New Plymouth, Taihape, Paraparaumu, Featherston, Upper Hutt, Rangiora, and Ashburton.
Spacey's New World in Taihape also sold a winning Powerball Second Division ticket worth $58,496.
NZ Lotteries' Acting Chief Executive Warren Salisbury said: "What a great way to start the New Year with bonus Lotto wins for these 17 players around the country."
