After the desecration of children's graves at Papakura Cemetery, several members of the public have approached police to help with the investigation.
Police yesterday released CCTV footage of the desecration of dozens of graves on Saturday night. The grainy footage showed the alleged offender and a possible witness.
Shortly before midday, a Counties Manukau police spokeswoman said neither of those two had not yet been identified but members of the community were contacting police to help.
"We have spoken to a couple of other people who have come forward, other witnesses, but not the person that was seen on CCTV."
She said these were "people who think they might have seen something".
