Police say they now have grave concerns for a Ngaruawahia man missing for more than a week.
John Waka Graham, 48, was last seen driving off from the Waikato town in his green 2003 model Ford Falcon car, registration number BMB893, on September 8.
Senior Constable Norm McIntosh said today police had no information as to his whereabouts and concern for his wellbeing was growing by the day.
"Time is imperative to us, we need to get some information ASAP."
Mr Graham walks with a limp because he recently had surgery on his right leg. He requires medication to help ease the pain, which would be agonising if not seen to, he said.
"We have grave concerns for his safety in reference to his medication and that sort of thing."
The vehicle was the key to finding him, Mr McIntosh said.
Anyone who thought they had seen it or Mr Graham should contact police immediately.
