Grafton Rd, a key route from central Auckland to the city's main hospital carrying 16,000 vehicles a day, is to get a $1.1 million makeover.
Auckland Transport says work will start next week on 350m of the hospital end of the road, which has become extra busy with the day-time closure of Grafton Bridge to general traffic.
