Grafton Bridge closes

Auckland's Grafton Bridge will be closed for an indeterminate period from 7am today as workers check ducting running along its side, after a safety scare two nights ago.

The Transport Agency says northbound motorway lanes beneath the bridge will be closed for four hours from 7am in case any objects fall off during the inspection.
