GrabOne has cleaned up in the country's premier website awards, beating some of the country's most recognisable brands.
The daily deals site owned by APN, publisher of the Herald, won best website at the New Zealand NetGuide Awards held at The Hilton in Auckland last night. It beat auction giant Trade Me, Stuff and the All Blacks website. It was voted for by 290,000 Kiwis - the highest number in the competition's 16-year history.
The fast growing website also picked up awards for Best Shopping Site and Best Site for Travellers.
Gobook, operated by GrabOne, also won the award for Best New Launch, Relaunch or Innovation.
GrabOne, which launched in 2010, employs 132 people. GrabOne general manager Ryan Watkins said the multiple wins were a credit to the hard work done by his team.
