There is a funding crisis looming at 27 community law centres across the country: the government is cutting finding by 44 per cent across the board in the year ahead.
Coalition of Community Law Centres convener Kevin Campbell says it will significantly affect free services which are currently available. And he says some centres will be forced to close completely. Mr Campbell says the Government needs to invest public money to ensure communities continue to get access to justice through community law centres.
