New Zealand's next Governor-General will be sworn in tomorrow.
Lieutenant General Sir Jerry Mateparae replaces Sir Anand Satyanand, who was honoured at a state farewell last week.
Tomorrow's ceremony at Parliament will include a full Maori welcome and a royal guard of honour of Navy, Army and Air Force personnel.
The public can watch the ceremony from the main lawn at Parliament or from the area outside the Parliamentary Library building.
A 21-gun salute will be fired by the New Zealand Defence Force's 16 Field Regiment at Point Jerningham on Wellington's waterfront.
