Gorge reopens after collision

The Karangahake Gorge in the Bay of Plenty has reopened after a car and a tanker collided, blocking the road earlier this morning.

The crash is two kilometres west of a rest area.

Police are still assessing the victims but initial reports suggest no one has life-threatening injuries.
