Staff at TVNZ's Avalon studio in Wellington have walked off the job again, taking the Good Morning programme off the air for the second time this week.
Sixty technical and production workers, members of the Public Service Association and the Engineering, Printing and Manufacturing Union, walked out at 9am today, as their pay dispute continued.
It was expected staff would return to work at 10am.
Union staff are seeking a five per cent pay rise and want the company to address problems arising from their long hours of work.
The state broadcaster has offered a settlement which equates to a 3.6 per cent pay rise.
A spokeswoman for TVNZ said no further specific comment would be made on the strike action, but said the network was committed to the negotiation process with staff.
Scheduled programming was expected to resume at 11am after the strike disrupted Good Morning, which airs from 9am to 11am.
