Weather over the weekend turned a bit ugly but this didn't stop the club's annual Champagne Breakfast and Ambrose being held.
First the club would like to thank sponsors for this breakfast as without their support this event wouldn't be happening - Greytown Butchery, Greytown Supermarket, Featherston Supermarket, Anderson Meats, Masterton Poultry, Parkvale Mushrooms, Breadcraft, Greytown Liquor Plus.
Special thank you to Sharon Harper and Deb Henderson for putting on a great breakfast, fun was had by all and great support from all people who helped the girls and the people who turned up despite the weather.
Winners of the Ambrose went to the team of Tony Taylor, Glenn Harper, Jamie Gray and Julie Channer with a score of 52.2, second place Allen Bennett, Charlie Fairbrother, Bob Schofield and Sue Fox with 58.2 and third place Rick Mikara, Jason Mokalei, Darryl Henderson and Connie Broker with 58.7.
Dates to remember: The finals of the Harry Puha Trophy and Plate will be held soon and the men's club championships is about to start.
Hopefully no more snow.
