Golf-club security reassessed after robbery

The Waitakere Golf Club plans to improve security after two female staff members were tied up and robbed at closing time.

The attack was on Sunday night just as an assistant manager and bar staff member were about to leave.

The masked robber threatened the women with a knife before ripping out phone cords and tying them up. He escaped with about $4500.
