New Zealand golfer Cathryn Bristow found the going tough on her United States LPGA tour debut at the State Farm Classic in Springfield, Illinois, yesterday.
She finished one shot over in a tie for 109th place, with her opening-round 73 leaving her nine shots behind leader Shanshan Feng (China).
Bristow achieved conditional status for the competitive US tour last November but has had to wait until now for a start.
